Our tattoos use the natural color of the Jenipapo fruit, which gently penetrates the top layer of the skin. This color reacts with the natural substances in your skin and the environment, giving it an attractive black or blue appearance. The specific shade of color may vary depending on your skin type.

Unlike traditional tattoos that are permanently pierced into the deeper layer of skin, our 2-week tattoos are needle-free. These unique designs gradually fade within 1-2 weeks through the natural renewal of the top layer of skin.

Your Tatsy tattoo will gradually fade after 1-2 weeks due to the natural regeneration of the top layer of skin.

The duration of your tattoo can be influenced by the following factors:

✅ Take a warm shower or sweat a few hours after application as this stimulates the skin.

✅ Choosing a place on the body with little friction and water exposure. Avoid touching your tattoo for the first few hours after application.

✅ Apply moisturizer to the tattoo daily to help maintain the color.

✅ Good skin genetics also play a role.

Unlike traditional temporary tattoos that are simply applied to the skin, our natural active ingredient gently penetrates the top layer of skin. It reacts with the natural compounds in your skin and the environment, creating a vibrant black or blue coloration. Tatsy does not require a needle and gradually fades through the natural regeneration of the top layer of skin after 1-2 weeks.

No, Tatsy tattoos are not henna. Natural henna turns the skin brown, while black henna often contains harmful chemicals like PPD or is dyed black with other chemical additives.
Tatsy, on the other hand, is skin-friendly, tested and certified in Germany and creates an attractive black-blue color on the skin.

Yes, Tatsy tattoos are waterproof! You can swim, use the sauna and sweat without having to worry about durability. 💧 However, keep in mind that your tattoo may fade faster when swimming. When you use the sauna and sweat, the color becomes even more intense.

After applying the tattoo and washing off the residue, no color is visible at first. However, as the active ingredient reacts with the skin, the skin turns black-blue within 24-36 hours. At first it appears light blue, and over time the color becomes darker and darker - regardless of your skin tone.

Tatsy tattoos have been dermatologically tested by Dermatest GmbH and awarded the verdict “very good”. This test was a voluntary measure on our part because the health and safety of our customers is important to us ❤️.

Unlike other providers who only advertise the EU cosmetics certification - which is mandatory for all cosmetic products anyway - our tattoos are the only ones in Germany that have been dermatologically tested and received the rating "very good". So you can be sure that our tattoos are gentle on the skin and do not cause any harmful effects.

Our Tatsy tattoos and the active ingredient used have a shelf life of up to 12 months provided they are stored in a cool and dry place. The active ingredient is non-toxic. We recommend using the tattoos as soon as possible to achieve the best results

Our Tatsy tattoos consist of the following ingredients:

polyethylene acrylate

Genipa Americana Fruit Extract

Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate

Dipropylene Glycol Dibenzoate

Polyvinyl Butyral

Cellulose Acetate Butyrate

Our Tatsy tattoos contain ingredients that may be new to you, so there is a small risk of allergic reactions when using them. These tattoos are not suitable for babies and young children.

• Avoid contact with eyes. If contact does occur, rinse eyes thoroughly immediately.
• Do not use to dye eyelashes and eyebrows.
• Wear suitable gloves when using.
• If you have skin intolerances or in case of doubt, consult a doctor before use.
• Keep the product out of the reach of children.
• Do not inhale or swallow the product.
• If itching, burning or redness occurs, rinse the affected area immediately and discontinue use, as this may indicate a serious reaction. Consult a physician and follow his or her instructions before reapplying the product.

So far, we have not received any feedback about problems. Tatsy tattoos only penetrate the top layer of skin and are dermatologically tested and certified, which ensures their safety for the skin. PS: Congratulations on the new arrival! 🤗👶🏼

To optimize the application of your Tatsy tattoo, please follow these tips:


Preparations:

✅ Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water to optimally prepare your skin.

✅ Choose a comfortable environment. Make sure the room temperature is between 21-24 °C.

✅ Skin exfoliation. A gentle exfoliation 24 hours before application can smooth the skin and make the tattoo stand out better.

✅ Proper shaving. Make sure the area is hairless. Shave the skin at least 24 hours before application.

✅ Moisturizing. Applying a moisturizer several times 24 hours before application promotes skin elasticity and improves the adhesion of the tattoo.

✅ Avoid moving parts of the body. Do not place your tattoo on areas that move frequently or may wrinkle (e.g. elbows).

Things to avoid:

❌ Do not touch your tattoo. Leave it alone for a few hours after application. No itching, scratching or other friction.

❌ Avoid scars, moles and stretch marks.

❌ Avoid areas with heavy hair. Shave them at least 24 hours before application.

❌ Avoid sensitive areas. These include genitals, neck, face, upper chest, inner biceps, etc.

It is advisable to apply the tattoo in areas with little hair. To avoid smudging the tattoo, we recommend shaving the area you want to tattoo beforehand. Please wait 24 hours after shaving before applying the tattoo as the skin may be irritated after shaving.

The tattoos react with your skin, causing it to turn black-blue within 24-36 hours. At first the color appears light blue before becoming darker over time.

It takes 24-36 hours for the tattoo to darken completely. Each skin type reacts differently to the tattoo, which is why different skin types can show different colors 😎.

Yes, you can! In fact, it is actually beneficial for your tattoo. However, we recommend that you do not dry the tattoo after the sauna and apply plenty of cream to ensure the skin is optimally cared for.

Yes, you can wear your Tatsy tattoo in the sun!

However, we recommend not drying the tattoo after sunbathing and applying cream to it well - just like the rest of your body! 🌞

It is important that you do not wash off your Tatsy tattoo for the first 8 hours after application. The active ingredient needs to be absorbed into the skin first, and the longer you leave the tattoo on, the better it can work.

As the tattoo reacts with your skin, your skin will turn black-blue within 24-36 hours. It will appear light blue at first before becoming darker over time.

Tatsy tattoos can only be used once.

After application, the active ingredient dissolves from the backing paper, meaning it can only be used once.

The best way to remove your tattoo is to gently exfoliate your skin. You can use a body scrub or a washcloth.

Exfoliating will help to use up the active ingredient faster. Make sure to be gentle with your skin and stop rubbing as soon as it becomes uncomfortable.

Our tattoos contain ingredients you may have never used on your skin before, so there is a small risk of an allergic reaction when using them. If a reaction does occur, it is usually only a mild skin irritation and you should stop using the product immediately. Applying a mild cream may help and avoid scratching the area. The redness should usually subside after a few hours. However, if itching, burning or redness persists, please consult a doctor and follow their instructions before applying the cream again. If the ink comes into contact with your eyes, rinse them thoroughly immediately.
