What exactly is Ink Up?

Our tattoos are created directly in the skin – without any needles or glue. The natural active ingredient from the jagua fruit penetrates the top layer of skin and reacts with it there. Over the next two to three days, a dark, realistic tattoo effect develops step by step.

Why Jagua, anyway?

Our tattoos are based on the natural active ingredient of the Jagua fruit – and there are good reasons for that!

Our tattoos contain the natural active ingredient genipin from the jagua fruit. This substance penetrates the uppermost layer of skin and reacts with it. As a result, the skin slowly darkens – gradually creating a realistic tattoo look.

The tattoo develops on its own over the next few days and remains visible for about two weeks before disappearing with natural skin renewal. Completely without needles, pain, or risk.
